This project was just a little challenge that I gave myself. As I usually love UX and UX Research, I wanted to push myself a little bit and only focus on the interface.

WHY CRAIGSLIST?
Craigslist is a great tool to view or post local advertisements. You can find listing for almost anything on Craigslist — second hand furniture, apartments, garage sales, used cars, and a whole lot more. I love that Craiglist gives people the chance to buy pre owned things, as this more affortable and sustainable.
PROBLEM
I really love craiglist, but when I first used the desktop version, I was overwhelmed of how text heavy the landing page is and it took me some time until I figured out, how I have to use it.
SOLUTION / QUICK FIX
Criags list is already great — but a new interface could improve the user experience.
I created a style guide, new logo and new interface in 4 hours - only to get a feeling, how the UI could work a little better. I chose the same colors as the current design, so the new UI still relates to the old one.
