CHALLENGE
How might we help people reduce anxieties when taking public transportations as we re-open cities?
PRODUCT NARRATIVE
84% of women around the world experience street harassment for the first time before they are 17 years old. This results in women spending an additional $26-50 per month for a safer commute home. Taking Uber rides is financially unsustainable. GoPal aims to solve the problem by pairing female riders (ages 16+) during their commutes. We want to provide a more affordable and safer alternative to get home. There is safety in numbers.

PRODUCT STUDIO
@ CORNELL TECH
What’s the best way to get real-world product development experience?
Develop product ideas that respond to the strategic business needs of companies and organizations.
Product Studio is a mandatory course for all master’s students at Cornell Tech. During the semester we worked on a team to develop a new tech product in response to a challenge posed by a real company ( in our case - Bloomberg LP ). We experienced first-hand how the product development process works in the real world and started to build a product which makes life a little easier and safer.
